Another million-dollar question is "WHERE IS THE M7 AGS DYNO?"
I like M7 product but for an intake. Is much better to stick with Alta CAI.

I think you missed the pages apon pages of arguments for and against Dyno sheets, and their relativeness to a products performance

Even if an AGS dyno sheet came out, I doubt that it would sway either side.

Yeah - Let's NOT re-visit that little viper's nest of a forum!!

If you like the product, and think it's good - Buy it... If not, then don't. Nuff said.

well like i always say, if they are to embarassed to post dyno sheets then obviousley it dosent perform as well as it should or i mean to say as well as origanally thought !!!

you figure the alta gives you about the max and the ags well maybe the same maby a hp or so more! but also noise as well, so its just another part for sale in the ocean of others, the looks are what killed me on it, i always figured this would rock on a NA car but since we run forced induction i fugure some of the usefullness of straitning the air tubes to that caliber wouldent be that dramatic on power, but who knows !
i think im talking out of my ars, ...hey its like 9:30 in the morning im still asleep
engines are a strange beast

I too, would love to see the numbers. I do, however, see why M7 is not posting them. I have read many posts by the dyno critics who, no matter what the post, critique the ambient temperature, make of dyno, position of the fan, position of the moon, alignment of the planets, etc.

Even with the dyno, it's just too subjective.

Adding ANY aftermarket intake, along with any aftermarket exhaust and you WILL gain HP. The question is how much.

Well.

Webstrands, how is YOUR car after the AGS has been put on.?
Feels faster? Feels quicker? Feels responsive? Hmmm??

Maybe we can gather Dynos from users with AGS and average the HP gain.... it's not that hard......

Am curious as I'm interested in doing a set of mods very close to yours.

Where are your dyno sheets posted?

What I find interesting is that no-one has posted ANY dyno results:

not the proponents, seeing gains, nor the skeptics, seeing no gains...nada.

If someone would like to send me an AGs I'd be happy to go down to Helix and get before and after dyno's as well as do some datalogging with my BIM-COM to see if the real world data is different from the dyno data

Unfortunately we have entered into an era for some where facts don't matter anymore.

I have heard it has been tested but because of the all the BS/politics this enity isn't saying anything Publicly. You just stumbled on the key word used to describe the results.......nada
Yeah I know, he said, they said, who said, we want to know, just forget about it.
I figure at some point some private individual who just doesn't care will go through with the whole proccess and post, but he better not care because as everyone reading this knows he's going to get jacked up and down just trying to be honest.

Numbers or not I still purchased one. It’s been on my car for 2 weeks. Can I tell the difference?? Yes I can. I originally had a Mini Mania intake then I purchased an Alta Intake and now I’m using the AGS. The reason I purchased the AGS was the concept made sense! I removed a lot of not needed original parts and replaced it with a part that directly feeds the air into the SC.

I love the response and maybe I didn’t gain any more horses. Regardless, it sure drives better. I should know after driving the car for 45,000 miles.

I too am interested in the numbers but at this point it would not matter that much.

M7 should make a warning label that say "Any loose objects may be sucked by the AGS" , "AGS, Sucks Hard", “Wind Beneath Your Bonnet”, “AGS, It’s ALL About The Sound”, “My Car Sucks Hard”.

Don’t get me wrong I love my AGS but since we are on the topic…

I think the key thing to think about here is that people have been kicked off nam for talking about this....umong other things

Now it has come full cirlce. People still want to know...and well it's time for SOMEONE cause (I am not trying to pic on M7 I just want to know) to step up to the plate!!

if anyone wants to send me an AGS I'll gladly pay for the dyno time...just to solve the mystery...I know plenty of people with stock cooper Sssss

That's an interesting pronouncement. Does "along with" mean that "both" the intake and exhaust have to be added for a gain in hp? Or does it mean "or", suggesting that either by itself will add hp? If you mean the former ("both"), then the "experts" probably wouldn't argue with you. However, if you mean the latter ("or"), then there very well might be some serious discussion, especially regarding the intake. As the sages suggest, we do need to be careful about making statements implying an absolute. Unless you have very solid supporting data, some might suggest using "may" instead of "will".
