My MC Miltek exhaust sound cilp

Well I finally got my exhaust and installed it a month and a half ago, but my camera was stolen at a party and I couldn't make a clip . Now that I've got my new (better) replacement camera, I've recorded a clip to help those with MCs choose their exhuast. The clip is 61megs. Hope you enjoy it.

I'm hoping to take some fly by and take off videos this week sometime. If I do I'll be sure to add them here.

Wow, that sounds great!

I haven't been sure about what exhaust to go with over the past few months, but now it is a bit easier. No fittiment probs? Smooth install? DIY or did you have it installed? How much for install? Power increase? Butt dyno numbers? What other mods do you have?

Great vid. Thanks!

Re Miltek

Same questions/comments as sandtoast - plus how is it from the interior at cruise speeds? Any drone?

I did the install myself and it was very easy (considering it was the first exhaust I had ever installed). Only problems were the Cat bolts were rusted on and difficult to get off (had to heat it with map gas then almost pull my arms off) and the rear hangers were a bit tricky. I notice a very small increase on the low end and the power band kicks in alot sooner now. Before the car would pick up at 4.5k, but not it starts going at 4krpm. Only other mod is the Moss Intake. Both combined make a great noise!

I recently took a 10 hour drive to Indiana and had no problems with drone at all. We were going pretty fast too so the rpms were high and I was surprised at how quiet it was. It is as loud as the stock system was inside, until you really get on it.

Hi Darkness,

Thanks for the sound clip. I've been looking for a good clip of the Miltek on an MC. I always ask for one on the MC and all I get are MCS clips. Well intentioned, but useless. Thanks for posting this one. Please post the inside driving and drive-by clips when you get a chance. I'd really appreciate it. Maybe a 0-60 run so I can hear you going through the gears? I've also heard the sound is better with the back seats down.

Thanks again,

Joe Gonzalez

Holy crap man, use compression! 60+MB for a 34 second clip is nuts! Here, I did this one for you... it's 2MB properly produced - download it and host it: http://www.sbtontheweb.com/video/coop.wmv

I lack the tools to compress something that much, though I did have the camera set on the max. I'll adjust it when take the other videos and if they are still huge I'll talk to you.

Awesome, thanks! This is the one I was leaning toward anyway, and now I am doing so even more. Sounds slightly more tame than the Borla, and with no drone, which is just what I'm looking for.
