Drivetrain ECU Mods Necessary Yet?
ECU Mods Necessary Yet?
This week, I am taking delivery of an '05 MCS in Houston [at MINI of the Woodlands_Contact: Aka DeMesa]. The next day, its going to Joel Swanson @ Bavarian Hyper Sports [highly recommended by Leon's Rocket Car and others in the Houston area] to install the following items [highlighted items are expected to affect the ECU's need for adjustment].
Should I now modify my ECU? Or wait until I retun to AZ in a week or so [after a driving adventure through the rural roads of TX, NM and AZ] and install a Miltek header and cat-back exhaust? Should I begin with a JCW re-flash before leaving Houston?
Thanks in advance for any advice you are willing to give me...
