Drivetrain 2.4L from PT Cruiser
Yep, those were called muscle cars. Actually it came from hot rodding the old Model A Fords from the 30's. It started out in California in the 50's. Stuff a V8 flat head Ford, Chrysler Hemi or a small bock Chevy.
A perfect movie would be American Grafitti.
Cheap gas & big heavy american armor, back in the day.
How bout a V8 into a Mini. They used to do it with the Chevy Vega. But that was RWD car, still unibody construction.

Yes, way back when, dinasour's used to roam the earth and we didn't have words like "Modding", we just "Fixxed Up" our cars.
Of course the motor had tons of extra work into it, but 16 psi=337whp/278wtq, now there's a testament to the efficiency of a turbo charger only setup.

that thing is insane! so much custom fab work, im sure
. i wonder what rear axle/driveline was used. i'd imagine they built something custom, seeing as how most rwd cars tend to be much longer and wider. i imagine this thing can do some crazy burn outs though! thats prolly all its really good for lol.
