Drivetrain Heads up! New scoop may be coming...

Heads up! New scoop may be coming...
I was at Big Mini Day yesterday, and I saw a non-M7 hood scoop that wasn't stock. Sorry, I didn't have a camera, but there were a few around the Mini Mania trailer. Less "WRX" like than the M7. Don't know anything about flow nubmers. Some were claiming 30-40% increased airflow, but I have no idea how it was measured, so who knows how accurate it was.
Mini Mania may have gotten one to play with and evaluate, but that's all I know for now.....

It's a good thing they don't sell parts or I'd have a Mini just like their in a few years (and broke!) Love the interior/underbody metal works Interesting that they have the lower grill blocked off

Wait to buy a scoop! Randy Webb has a nice one in the works- I saw it on his bad-*** mule. Much better than the M7, IMHO... more subtle in appearance, but still trick enough for performance. It's a side project, but if it gets produced it would be the one I would buy (if I had an "S" )! I hope I didn't let the cat out of the hood!

Very ineresting car especially that rear suspension set up whcih would be nice to put in any Mini if you didn't need the rear seats. But I am surprised it's only 200hp are you sure that's correct? A regular JCW plus a few other minor additions goes beyond that, I would have thought they would go for bigger HP's no?

First off its light... and second with minimal upgrades you get less things that would go wrong. A larger spread.
Endurance racing I guess.

Also, realize that the lightness will REALLY help. The Nuzzo cars are mostly stock concerning their engines, but because of their tiny weight they can keep up with the fast cars in its class

(Now watch - somebody's going to tell us Bay Bridge is run by twins!)

Nope, That's Jacque Andres, owner of BBM in the car and Greg (sorry, forgot the last name) leaning in the car. BTW, Greg is an outstanding body and paint guy.
Sorry to hear they had a sucky day.
