Just got an Alta IC

I found a smokin' deal on a "demo" unit and can't wait to get it installed.

Any possibilities of before and after dyno runs?

I doubt you will see any difference in numbers on the dyno with just a new TMIC. it will not have airflow which is where the IC works.

IMHO, it's much better (and cheaper) to test the IC on the road using a pair of temp probes:

Thanks.

Living in GA it is pretty hot and I think this will help.

There is a big dif between morning and afternoon performance.

IT's a pretty easy swap...

You can do it in about half an hour. The clearence on mine for the gasgets was tighter than stock, so it took some wrestling, but nothing heroic! Are you getting one with the cast endcaps or the original machined ovals? Either way, you'll like it. I don't have differential temp probes, but I have seen a lower IAT in some logging I've done....

The original machined ovals.

I have a 19% so I think this will really help.

I am not going to do a before and after dyno. I have lots of dyno info. I may do an after because I want to take the car back to my delta dyno place. I haven't been back since the "tune" at a different facility, and this will give me a good idea of how we did
