i am a huge fan of the auto dsc off. one of my favorite mods
. i know others feel differently. i just feel like i have much more control without it....heck i always drove without it in my e46 m3! it also saves you from an embarrasing moment on the track when you realize it's on
btw, i don't notice the light anymore (it is on)....my brain seems to have filtered it out

Just installed my v6 last night. I chose to remove the tubes and pull the switch panel out. I have worked on computers for 15+ years and am comfortable with connecting those types of cables.....but still did NOT think the 'blind method' was a good idea. Plus, like many have stated....with big hands it's impossible to get it done right in that tiny compartment. IMO.
I will say that it is the sweetest little goodie for the price!
$52 shipped. Took one week. Wrapped in anti-static bag and excellent instructions, in color even. Simple to program. Purposeful. (?) I chose to wrap it in a little piece of foam and zip tie it so it does not get jarred in the space behind the switches. I even got a red LED to match my car!
How nice of Ian to consider that!
I programmed the Auto Window Up, DSC disable, and fog lights w/headlight options. Each 'config' worked on the first try and within 20 seconds, I was done.
My hat's off to you Ian!
I hope you make a nice little bundle for your mad money account on these babies.
Nam'ers, get them while they're HOT!
