Drivetrain '05 exhaust on an '04 Cooper S?

'05 exhaust on an '04 Cooper S?
Hey guys
Does anyone know if I can replace the stock exhaust on my '04 Cooper S with someone's spare '05 factory exhaust without incurring in any major modifications or costs?
I hear that the '05 exhaust has a nicer sound so I'd like to swap my '04 exhaust with an '05, but I'm not sure if it's possible without having to do a lot of welding/cutting etc. Is it true the rear hanger configuration/locations have changed for '05?
I'd probably have a muffler shop do the swap anyway, but if it's not gonna fit properly, I'd rather not go through with it.
Any opinions from you mechanically gifted MINI-Folk?
