I looked at the pix but those tabs are on the bottom behind the top of the air box and seem completely blocked off from any access. I can barely see the right side one but can't really seem to get to it with any thing and the left tab is completely hidden. I'd like to know what the trick is to release them as that does look to be all that's needed.
Don't know what the JCW looks like.

The tabs and slots are designed to be separated by releasing the front screws and maneuvering the entire top until they disengage.

Blwn, you got me to look for some JCW stuff after your 1st reply.
I finally got the SOB after watching this vid.
He shows it at about 3:27. Damn thing still put up a fight. Didn't help that everything behind wanted to flex & not release the tabs when I pounded on the front of the.box. Even then it was wanting to hang up big time on that separator. I can think of better ways to design the way that box attaches.
Thanks for the help!

Excellent, as long as you got it.
BTW it's not just the Dinan, the JCW is a PITA too.

DDM race intake works very well but has some fitting restrictions.
