Hmmm, wonder if there's something caught somewhere, simply looking at the above pictures it seems to be the same as the JCW, simply remove the 2 front screws that connects the top to the bottom and work the tabs out of the rear slots....
I looked at the pix but those tabs are on the bottom behind the top of the air box and seem completely blocked off from any access. I can barely see the right side one but can't really seem to get to it with any thing and the left tab is completely hidden. I'd like to know what the trick is to release them as that does look to be all that's needed.

The tabs and slots are designed to be separated by releasing the front screws and maneuvering the entire top until they disengage.
He shows it at about 3:27. Damn thing still put up a fight. Didn't help that everything behind wanted to flex & not release the tabs when I pounded on the front of the.box. Even then it was wanting to hang up big time on that separator. I can think of better ways to design the way that box attaches.
