I own a 2004 Mini Cooper S and the short shifter I bought says it's only for a 2002-2003 Mini Cooper. I know that the 02 to 06 are almost the same cars but I was wondering if the short shifter for an 02-03 Mini would work in my 04 Mini. The shifter is brand new and I'd like to know if it'd work before taking it out of the package.
