Drivetrain Powerflex lower engine torque arm
Powerflex lower engine torque arm
I recently replaced my lower engine torque arm bushings with Powerflex; purple in the front, yellow in the rear with the black insert installed. I will say that NVH is much more than stock. There is a small but noticeable improvement in handling. I hope that the NVH will settle down in 1k miles or so.
Anyone else have experience with these bushings?

I have the NM ones. It definitely makes for a bit more vibration, especially sitting at a light. It doesn’t really go away as much as you get used to it. It’s definitely worth it to get the squishy feeling on take off tightened up.
Just mounted one about 2 weeks ago, no black insert, just the yellow and purple bushings. Definitely some NVH (mostly V) at a stopped idle, easy enough to mitigate.
I notice a much smoother takeoff. I just re-did a good portion of the suspension so I don't notice a lot in the handling dept. that I can directly attribute to it, but the takeoff is much better.
