Dynocom dyno

Anyone have any experience running their Minis on this dyno. They will be finishing up the TVS900 Supercharger plus a bunch more mods this week and this is the dyno in their shop. Wondered how it compares to the other dynos as far as readings go.

Doesn't really mater..!
You are using like any other gauge in your dash. Comparing it to itself is all you will be doing. So...if it's 20hp high or 20hp low...it means nothing as long as it's consistent. Run one as a baseline, then make changes, run two, make more changes, etc., etc.
Unless of course you are just looking for monster numbers to relate to others..!

Do some of your own homework, find out what others think. See You Tube videos..!

loading dyno if I'm not mistaken, will give higher numbers than an inertia like dynojet

looking forward to see your results, also hoping they come out with a bigger option, like the 1040 or 1320

Very true. I guess I never thought about that. I don’t think we did any pre TVS on it. Not a big deal to me. Butt dyno is what matters to me.

I've never heard of or seen one used, so no help with comparison from me, sorry.

I understand completely not getting a pre-dyno run, it's often forgotten when getting ready for a big change, with all the other things going on at that time....

Best thing now is to hope that you can use that dyno from now forward.

Looking forward to seeing how things go with the TVS.

Me too. They’ve had the engine out and since we’re replacing the clutch, adding injectors, new ATI lower pulley, swaybars and the TVS they also are doing rear main seal and a whole bunch of other seals hoses and gaskets and bushings. Looks like a theee week project.

A friend of mine made 5% more on his bone stock car on a local Dynocom compared to the local Dynojet.
