Drivetrain M7 customers BEWARE!!!
CPEWEGO, Thank you for the information on your problem with the M7 Venom Nitrous system. I hope all this bashing doesn't persuade other people to not tell their stories about product experiences. It's good to hear both the good and bad. Obviously this product didn't work for you but it obviously does work for others who have reported good things about this system. No matter how good a product is it will be hard to not find someone who is dissatisfied. Everyone just needs to put this into perspective. Your comments probably wouldn't make me not buy the product, it just makes me aware that issues might exist.
What finally made you decide to give up trying to get it to work? I would think M7 would have worked with you to try and resolve the issue. There must be a solution since the system has been proven to work on other cars.

Look this has nothing to do with peter...I USE HIS PRODUCTS...I.E. the carbon hood....
...but the one thing EVERYONE has forgetten today...and I am sick of it...IS the customer is alwasy right!....that is why I like to hear all stories good or bad...I am not saying that one of these two people is right or wrong I am simply saying regaurdless of why the N20 was wroking...he wanted to return the product...REFUND IN FULL....Used or not...Peter HEARD he was using it wrong and didn't....well that's not good either....
think about it...if peter had returned his $$, this post wouldn't exsist...and he would have someone who appreciated that he went an extra length to help out...like:
"he man, sorry the system didn't work for ya...maybe we can try some other stuff...not the bottle....for now here's the refund for the system..."
I have to deal with people everyday I work for my self...and in the end I have to make the client happy or I didn't do my job....
don't get me wrong there are plently of @$$H*(s out there that no matter what I do they are not happy...I stoped working with people like that...
So CPEWEGO had a bad expierence...well he just wants to make sure it doesn't happen to anyone else...I appreciate a warning...expierence speaks volumes....it takes year to earn a clients trust and seconds to loose it...
insted of jumping on CPEWEGO for his honest feelings...and you cannot tell someone thier feelings are wrong...why not just say ok...well that's one story

As for Court crap...I just had Diseny ripe me off for work I did....they are complete tyrants and I could've taken them to court...but I didn't it's a waste of my time and I would just rather forget about it and move on...TIME IS MONEY...life's too short...and diseny is the devil....LOL

I couldn't help but jump in with all this drama going on. If you really felt that you had a case then court would not have cost you, if you win in court you can have the court costs charged to the other party. Sounds to me like you we're treated fairly by M7, move on.

I thought I'd put in my two cents for this topic. I have the M7 Venom NO2 setup, as well as other M7 products and done all of the installations myself. I am not a professional installer by any stretch, but I have *never* had any problems or issues with the NO2 system. I followed the pictures and everything works perfectly. Peter has been fantastic to work with: friendly, professional, courteous, and always willing to answer questions.
Peter, Randy and M7's reputation alone is enough reason for me to purchase and continue purchasing aftermarket parts from M7. I have +$15k in aftermarket modifications, have had electrical fires from bad components, and computer shut-downs from all my "tweaks". I know that I use everything (regardless of the source) at my own risk. Keep up the great work M7, you have my business!

this thread is just another preventative measure for me to NOT spend my money on NO2 and put the $$ toward other more reliable and safer mods that make my car better and more fun to drive all the time and not for just 3-15 seconds at a time. any good race last longer than that anyway

p.s. NO2 has scared me ever since i saw my friend practically melt the pistons in his Mustang during a street race. (don't try at home kids)

is the 3-15 second surge of power really worth the potential problems and damage NO2 can cause? to some yes others no. you have been lucky Diablito for 24 years and i commend your efforts with the nitrous i still think it's not worth it. again, no offense

When CPEWEGO stated that he wasn't aware of the damage (ballooned intercooler) and kept driving because everything seemed ok, that made me wonder

Sorry for your problems CPEWEGO. The nitrous system did not work in your car. No one knows why, and may never know why. However, it works in 99 out of 100 cars, so Peter has done a good job of designing something that works 99 out of 100 times. I'd say that is a good product, especially considering we are dealing with running nitrous and all the potential problems with that. And Peter treated you fairly by refunding your money. :smile:

Has anyone bothered to look up the definition of libel lately? According to a definition posted at dictionary.com it is a defamatory statement or representation esp. in the form of written or printed words; specifically : a false published statement that injures an individual's reputation (as in business) or otherwise exposes him or her to public contempt. My opinion is you need to be happy you got your 700 hundred dollars back, and since you recieved a refund you should definitely not be angry. In my personal opinion if you would have posted in a nice way, you would have recieved much more positive feedback. A little niceness goes a long way. You should have been the bigger person and not gotten mad and went on a posting binge.
