How many guys have done this mod? any issues with autocross/track driving?

 

I am in the process of rebuilding a 08 clubman s. I will be doing a vacuum pump delete. I will never loose sleep over that pump destroying my engine. Im using a GM style pump, very quiet, and a vacuum canister, add in some one way vacuum valves and a vacuum switch and I will be set to go. I'm also removing the intake pcv line and using that a a vacuum source. I will be redoing the pcv system so that I will never need to replace the valve cover again. I will be doing and posting these mods through the winter. Pulling the head off today.
