Goodbye FrankenTurbo!
Buzz's FrankenTurbo gave up the ghost. Started throwing the 2885 code and after systematically checking through the usual stuff, the turbo's the issue.
Followed advice I should have taken last year and got a JMTC S42. Holy cow, what a difference! Smooth and powerful, power right where I need it. Had the shop put on a manual boost cut to try to address unwanted/unneeded overboost ... it's dialed into 22 psi on the nose.
The tune I'm running is a custom one designed for the FrankenTurbo. Now, I'm debating ... go back to my guy for tweaking the new setup, or get the right RPM stage from Mario!
