clutch going? Will warranty cover?

I have a clutch problem developing. When depressing the pedal I am feeling some resistance at about 2-3" above the floor, as if something is impeding it. Once down, the clutch engages normally. I am almost out of warranty at 49,400 miles.

Had a 19% pulley install from RDR at about 40,000 mi. Should I expect a denial under warranty because of the pulley? My thought is that it is unrelated as there has been no extra wear on the clutch.

Car goes in Wedneday.

I don't think they'll even notice the pulley...

Had the front bearing in my transmission go out and they had to replace the whole trany as the front bearing does not come by itself

I have the following mods:

ALTA PULLEY

ALTA INTAKE

THROTTLE BODY

PLUGS

WIRES

COIL PACK

SSR COMPS

MILLTECK SPORT CATBACK

H-SPORT LOWERING SPRINGS

P/S FAN COVER

H-SPORT REAR SWAY BAR

H-SPORT CONTROL ARMS

UNICHIP ECU

WHALEN SHIFT ****

WEBB’s STAGE ONE BRAKES

AUTO UP WINDOWS

VOICE OPERATED GPS SYSTEM

and nothing was said it was done under warranty.

The clutch is a wear item, and isn't ever covered under warranty expressly. If your dealership replaces any wear item, it's either under the 3/36k Complimentary Service, or a Good Faith budgeted item.

not warranty

Right you are. They estimate $1500 to replace clutch.
