just emailed them. They said it may be another 8-10 weeks.
I’d like to get one soon. Especially before summer.

I have had the wagner on another platform. they are one of the only companies that actually publish pressure drop numbers etc.

On my previous cars the wagner outperformed the competition significantly

I don't think you can go wrong between the Forge, Airtec, or Wagner. All great intercoolers and I'm guessing they will all produce pretty similar results. I say go with whatever you can get the best deal on.

Forge had a 20% off all products a few months ago which made there intercooler pretty cheap. I am still kicking myself for not jumping on that deal. Bring it back for us Forge!! At least on your F56 intercoolers!!

I'm running the Wagner. Fit, performance, and build quality is perfect. Pain in the *** to install.

Hey guys I’m also looking to replace my intercooler. I found one at ECS tuning. Model CTS-R56-DF. Has anyone ever tried this one? It seems like a middle of the road price between the Chinese eBay $150 and an all out $800 for an Alta.

Here’s one of the eBay “made in China” ships from USA intercoolers.

Whats that tab on the top? Ive never seen one of those on any of the S or JCW ICs

My advice, avoid the $150 one. The last thing you want is to get the whole clip off then the fit be off and then you are screwed. I ended up getting a Forge IC on here for $500 so they are out there

Talk to Mike at BT, there could be a chance someone bailed on an IC from their group buy or they could have ordered extra.

The sides of the F56 intercooler has these little boxes with holes in them that the radiator/condenser sit in. It's a weird set up and a pain in the *** to install but I don't see any other universal intercooler being able to fit our cars without that Mini specific mounting point.

This intercooler is for the 2nd gen Mini's. NOT the F56/55 chassis.

I have a manual JCW hardtop. When driving normally around town (35-40mph) and on the fwy (70mph), I'm noticing higher IAT with the Airtec IC compared to the stock intercooler.

I haven't data logged yet - just noticed the higher difference in ambient air temp v. IAT.

I'm using OBD Fusion.

Multiple times I’m hearing Airtec being worse than stock on these cars. Which leaves me hesitant to buying Airtec.

The Airtec intercooler works very well. I do see higher IAT driving normally around town. Once I get into boost, IAT drops considerably. I did not see that with the OEM intercooler.

My normal city driving IAT differentials are very similar to what MarcoPolo posted.

*Boost drops <1 psi in WOT
