3mm thick exhaust manifold

What do you think about this exhaust manifold?

It does not seem flowing friendly, especially cylinders 2 and 3

It's not for a twin scroll turbo.

If you have a second gen MINI with turbo it is a twin scroll turbo. That is for a single.

If you have a second gen MINI with turbo it is a twin scroll turbo. That is for a single. A twin scroll routes 2 cylinders for each port. It matches the turbo.

Yes, you're right

They should explain better on the announcement...

I'm planing soon a manic tune - stage 2.

After (€€€) an hybrid turbo with meth. At that time polish and porting is in equation. My only apprehension is the manifold getting more exposed to crack due to higher temps generated by the tune!!!

I polished mine. I'll let y'all know if it stands up. I would get a good app for a smart phone and keep an eye on the engine temperature as it cools. Insulate the turbo perhaps so it cools at a steady rate and slower. Run your car for at least five minutes before turning it off.

Ya! Let me know any developments in that subject

When i put my mini on tracks, even after a fast road event, i let the car cool a bit before stop. On track days my last lap in each session is the cool down lap...

Thank you for all information
