Simplest thing I can thing of is to put one front wheel on ice and the other on pavement, then try to accelerate. Since you're at 8200 feet just wait a few months?

There are a couple of on ramps here where if I hit it hard, I can get a little wheelspin on the inside tire, especially if it is wet. So you could try that. Find one that's a left hand turn, one that's a righty.

Ok so the car is on jacks and spinning the wheel in one direction makes the other spin in the same direction. I just wonder how to test my Cusco LSD to make sure it works

Try out this test to see how much your LSD is allowing slip.

Thanks! Interesting, but is that the test where the wheels are on the air? I did that and in neutral both wheels just turn.

Put it in gear and lift one wheel is how you would do that test.

that does not work with helical diffs or with diffs like the OEM setup they behave like an open diff when there is no load on both

the oem is driven by pressure load out from the center, causes the outside notched ring to engage it's a nifty setup but not a terribly high transfer %
