Coil Pack?

Does it do anything, how does the fit and finish and does it cure any of the inherit problems of my S like stumble, and minor yoyo in first gear? as well as cold start... on moss mini's site it claims a screamin' demon coil pack and livewires give a second 0-60, very hard to believe...

is it worth the money is my big question

I got the Pilo ignition upgrade and am very happy with it.
Gaining a second from 0-60? If you believe that, I've got this bridge for sale...

Unless your Mini is missing under hard acceleration, a coil, or any other ignition mod, isn't going to do a damn thing for performance. Think about it... if it's reliably igniting the mixture in the cylinder, what else matters?

I think everyone that's concerned about performance in an internal combustion engine needs to go read the NACA papers on high HP aircraft engines (written between WWI and WWII) or 'The Internal Combustion Engine, Theory and Practice', by C.F. Taylor.

Granted a lot of the details have changed, like ECU's and electronic ignition, but the basic principles are still the same. Knock-limited performance is still just that - the limit. Unless, or until, your engine is knock-limited (is it knocking or missing?), then you ain't going to gain anything with a different ignition system. The knock sensor in your Mini is there for a reason, besides adjusting for cheap gas...
