sniffed OK

had my '02 rig pass its first NY emissions testing on the State approved inspection dyno-rolls; yippee.

given these mods, which are giving me 212 wheel hp, I was delighted:
One-click, 62mm throttle body, 440 injectors, Apexi piggyback, headwork, blower work, 19% pulley, extrude-honed snoots, header, ATP cat, (no-pre-cat), custom 2.5" exhaust, supersprint mufflers.

Hey that's great news jlm.

Really cool - improved efficiency not only adds power, it passes the snif test! I wonder if a stocker with similar milage would test as clean?

Do they give you a print out with what was measured? It'd be cool to compare what if any difference there is when you finally get your new pistons etc. With TOO's modding of the quench areas etc. you' should burn more efficiently and have an even cleaner test.

Cheers,
mc

John, that does indeed make feel good as well. I appreciate you sharing that with us.

You didn't mention the LSD, which I thought you had. I realize of course that doesn't impact emissions, but as you might recall in that one thread, I was told that it could make such a test generate an error. I guess not with yours, which is great news!

HC: 0.34/.060
CO: 8.5/10.0
NOx: 1.30/1.50

Nice! Mine were:

'03 MCS
14,411 miles
Helix/P&D 15% Pulley
MTH Chip
Magnaflow Exhaust
Alta Intake

HC: 8/275
CO: 0.0/1.10
NO: 28/3600
Dilution Reading = 15.4%

Obviously, PA uses different scales/tests than NY.
