SES & DSC light on

I've 03 MCS with 15K miles ---SES and DSC light came on - car bucks at light throttle, stalls at idle & just isn't running correctly. first start in am car will run ok- I can clear SES by starting 5 times and no lights are on. I get about a block and DSC & SES light come on again. Once DSC & SES light is on hitting DSC toggle does nothing- DSC stays on. No changes made to car lately.
Take car to dealer today- and they call back to say I have aftermarket pulley & CAI and they contacted MINI and can't repair under warranty. Said the SES isue is caused by high intake pressure & sensor is faulty-fault caused by pulley and CAI. Said i'll have to take off the pulley & intake & put car back to stock to look at under warranty.

i argue --can't be pulley or intake i can get car to run normally in am and reset SES light & just after taking off both ses & dsc come back on at low RPM, way before supercharger or pulley has anything to do with it. Its like talking to wall- Tell them if sensor is faulty they should replace it but it wasn't caused by my pulley.
I ask them what is problem with DSC-how can this light have anything to do with pulley/cai- they haven't looked at DSC issues yet its separate from SES issue and is next to be diagnosed. Authorize them to replace faulty sensor at my cost to get car running right but tell them they have to prove that pulley caused issue. They install JCW & Dinan pulley how is mine causing issue?
I'll really love the car, how it runs, handles, etc but I'm so sick of the attitude from MINI i'm ready to throw in the towel and get something else. Haven't gotten car back yet but any advice??

Sorry, but it's one of the risks that you take when you make mods! Did you really think they would just ignore the mods? And certainly don't blame the car! The pulley and CAI didn't just grow there by themselves.

But you might do a little research and find a dealer that's more mod-friendly - they do exist.
