Drivetrain OEM vs Valeo
OEM vs Valeo
I know it has been discussed many times but I have not found much information from people that occasionally track there cars. Trying to decide on either spending the money for an OEM replacement clutch or the cheaper Valeo. Car will see a few autocross events a year. Mods are 17% pulley, CAI, borla cat-back, and RE-11's on track days. Which clutch would you recommend for this?
For what you're doing the Valeo kit will be fine, and even a couple pounds lighter. The OEM kit will work similarly, but with the valeo you won't have to worry about flywheel failing later.

Yes, the Valeo Kit will be just fine in your case. It's a good kit because it's a solid flywheel conversion kit that replaces the original dual-mass unit. It also saves weight and money!
