What's the sound quality of the Scorpion? I see Bavarian Auto sport has it for a good price.

Custom Quicksilver

I recently bought an 06 Cooper S with OEM exhaust and it was one of the first things I changed. I looked on Youtube to get ideas on various exhaust sounds but you don't get the full sensation of an exhaust system from a video. I also found that upgrading the exhaust didn't gain much power on it's own and needs a. ECU remap to really take advantage of it.

I bought a cat back Quicksilver system for my 06 which I then chopped up and modified because it was too obnoxious. I've ended up with an OBX header into a 2 1/2" free flow cat down to a 2 1/4" resonator, 2 1/4" stainless pipe through a single same side offset Magnaflow muffler. The system sits high up in the body so that you can't see the muffler from behind and it sounds awsome! It has a deep note at idle and gives a real presence. It has a great balance of sound between the blower and exhaust and a deep throaty note and burble. It took me a few attempts to get it right but it really does sound better than any off the shelf setup I've heard. You need to consider whether you'll eventually fit a header because I found that the OBX header is quite a bit louder than the OEM header so the cat back will sound different depending on what header you have.
