Drivetrain HELP!! Engine light on with SIX codes (0012, P0015, P0055, P0300, C342D, and C3064)
HELP!! Engine light on with SIX codes (0012, P0015, P0055, P0300, C342D, and C3064)
I have engine light on since yesterday and my mechanic checked my 2010 clubman. There are 6 codes. They are P0012, P0015, P0055, P0300, C342D, and C3064. Usually when staring, RPM goes up & down, and later it's ok, but sometimes engine shuts off. What shall I do? Can I drive for a while? Either MINI or BMW dealer is hundreds miles from me. Please help :(
check oil level firstly. the camshaft codes and 0055 can cause the p0300(pending misfire). 0055 is a h20s heater fault- which is o2 sensor heater circuit fault. that undoubtedly means you need a new o2 sensor, bank 1 sensor so I believe it's the one on the downpipe. does your car have the death rattle? poor timing chain tension can cause the camshaft codes, but so can low oil pressure. the o2 sensor fault (which is more than likely entirely unrelated to the others) will cause significant drivability issues and the rpm fluctuations.
