DIS/GT1 SSS JCW 210 map

I found a set of 380 bosch injectors cheap on ebay and want to flash the JCW 210 map when i fit them. see Standard 380cc Injectors
I can't really afford a custom tune right now as I blew all my money on a GP Intercooler.

I have DIS/GT1 SSS setup and running.
Does anyone have any experience using DIS or SSS to flash this map?

I found some installation pdfs for the JCW kits.

I am assuming they are for the following upgrades

JCW 210 bhp
JCW 200 bhp

i have done some research

first question
Is there a cd with a binary image of the software that would be flashed onto the ecu/dme. now this may be only for the early dealer installs before it was a factory option. and therefore doesn't matter cos they didn't install 380cc injectors until after JCW options were available factory fitted.

After the factory installs became available the dealers had it included in the images they had on file inside there software (which in the install guide it says DIS).

Now if this is true, as the 210 option was made available in 2006 we can assume we need a DIS from; on or after then to make sure we get the image file that will know about the injector upgrade and regulate the fuel correctly.

this may or may not require a jcw kit code or an authorisation code (and potentially more numbers for other things).

So the holy grail is to flash the jcw 210 map using BMW diagnostic and programming tools. (and use bosch injectors) all available cheaply on flee bay.

Anybody done this themselves or know someone who did?

I am going to try on Monday after i get my injectors flow tested.

If I do it and anyone is interested I will post a how to

Will be very interested to hear how you get on, as it's something I would like to do (along with increasing idle speed)

I too pursued this type of self programming of the JCW Flash for a while, I was not able to get any real information about doing it myself.

I even went to the dealer to have them flash my 06 MSCa that I have added all the JCW parts to, and because it was an Auto, they were unsuccessful.

A very interesting side note to the is that you can actually buy a JCW MSCa, so why could they not do it? Well I think that they can and did, but did not know it. See for some reason after you flash an Automatic and start the car it will tell you there is a transmission error. It seems that the DME has to relearn the Transmission is there or something.

How do I know this I have flashed the computer on my car well over a dozen times, and it has done this every time, and after two cycles of the key and a very short drive it works fine.

I eventually ended up buying a DimSport Tuning Box, from RMW and got a Canned tune until I could get a completely custom tune. I do think the tools and the information is out there for programming your own DME/ECU with a JCW canned tune, but to the best of my knowledge no one has done it on their own yet.

The problem is even if you have the tool (DIS/GT1) it doesn't have the files for the program you would need and they don't let those out.
