I just bought an '05 MCS a month ago. This forum has been a great resource for a newbie like myself. I have already done a CAI with Megan heat shield with K&N filter and Dinan STB. One-ball mod tomorrow. Eibach 19mm RSB is already sitting in the garage. Just waiting for Koni Yellow and Tein S-tech springs to arrive for the suspension upgrade. My next question - any great recommendation for 15% pulley install in the NorCal Bay Area?

 

I'd recommend Bay Bridge Motors. They know their stuff.

If you are in the South Bay brracing in Los gatos does good work. As far as I know there are no tuners in the Bay Area, unless you do a remote tune

 

The closest guy we recommend is in San Diego

BR Racing is good, but I have also had very good experience with Edge Motorworks. They have been racing, tuning & maintaining BMW & MINI in Dublin CA for years. They opened a second shop in Mountain View last year.

On my car, they have installed suspension, pulley, done custom alignment, and tracked-down a suspension klunk that the dealer couldn't find (when the car was still under warranty). HI Jim. I have had dealings with both Bay Bridge Motors and Edge Motor Works. They are both very good for any of your Mini needs, but neither do tunes. Your best bet is to look for a tuning party. RMW has them all over the country.
