.... does the stock pulley make, (i.e. 7 lbs?)...

also, how much boost does the 15% reduction pulley make? i appreciate your help.

(side note: what kind of oil do you guys use in YOUR minis?)

I think stock is about 14 lbs.. 15% is about 16-16.5

I use Castrol Syntec.

That agrees with my experience. 4th gear, WOT, mobil 1 (but switching to redline when I hit 10k)

according to my Auto Meter mechanical boost gauge tapped into the fuel pressure regulator...

~12.5 PSI bone stock at 6950 RPM
~19 PSI with 15% pulley at 7200 RPM

The MAP sensor seems to read lower (according to Andy@rosstech), and I'd tend to trust the MAP over the cheap Auto Meter gauge.

Helix says that you can get an added 5 lbs with a 15% reduction. Eric is the most honest mechanic I know.

He does not over estimate the numbers.

Helix Pully Reduction torque gains are 5lbs

I use Mobile one between every dealer change. I change my oil twice as much as recommended.

This agrees with what I've seen. Max boost @ WOT 12.3 w/ stock pully. Measured at fuel pressure regulator.
