15% Pulley Removal

If I decide to replace my 15 with a 17, can I remove my existing 15% without jacking up the engine again? Does it have enough wall clearance to take out my existing 15? Has anyone done this before?

Pretty sure it would be a pita to access the pulley without jacking the engine. I can't imagine removing the bolts and torquing them from there.

You are better off buying a crank pulley with a 2%. The crank pulley is accessible right through the side of the car and you dont need to jack up the engine

Yes you can with manual transmissions. Tight but workable.

I would also add that you are not removing a stock pulley. So a stock pulley removal tool will not fit your 15% pulley you will be removing.

Other techniques are involved.

If its an aftermarket pulley you should not need a pulley remover.

Go to your local auto parts store and ask them to check what codes your ecu is throwing out, that should tell you whats going on
