Is a relearn needed after DV replacement

Does anyone know if a ECU relearn or reset is necessary after a DV replacement?

No. I just unplugged the old one and plugged in the new one. Worked right away.

Guys, some one know if the oem diverter was upgrade ? Ecstuning is selling a DV with a new design, looks like a piston.

About the vag upgrade ... You are using still this upgrade ? I saw the thread that czar talk abouts the leak, but it was on the 710D, i dont know if the 710G have the same problem.

About the alta spring on vag internals or oem DV. I read here that in some situations could cause surge, is that right ?

11658636606 is the latest design

Below 11657593273 was the older design, the design before that the diaphragm tended to crack.

Just swapped my old version for the new. My diaphragm wasnt broken yet. The new one cuts the yoyo when going on-off boost from multiple to one time, if that makes sense. It doesn't eliminate it like a stiffer spring would, and should keep factory mpg.

Welcome.

Yes, it's been revised a couple times. That's the latest. They got away from that diaphragm version.

I like the new one. Remember this is the OEM replacement valve meant for a stock engine/psi. That being said I am running peak of 20psi and it handles it fine. I did not replace the spring with a stiffer (alta) spring.

Does anyone know if the GFB DV+ is compatible with the new 11658636606 design? Would it be worth installing the GFB DV+ onto the newer diverter valve?

GFB for the N14 is a solid product (assuming you didnt get a knockoff on ebay). Far superior over the OEM design.. the GFB is not capable of mechanical failure.. its a solid piston design.

Super simple
easy install
bulletproof

We just found O-ring that fits as an upgrade also. Or replacement.

This works for that main yellow/range o ring:
