Looking for a detailed how-to for 15% pulley install

hey everyone.
I have a 2003 cooper S with 128,000 miles on her! Love the car.

I just bought the alta 15% pulley and already have colder running spark plugs and a CAI installed.

I am NOT mechanically inclined at all so I usually have my buddies at a shop down the road do this work. The issue is while they have the tools, they do not have much mini experience... but they are all I can afford labor wise

I am looking for a good guide on how to change out the pulley and the belt for an R53

Thanks!

Here you go. I hope you have a pulley remover.

The ''hardest'' part is removing the pulley, the rest is just removing a bunch of bolts, intake, motor mount, etc, and jacking the engine up so the stock pulley shows its ugly face. Like Braminator said, hope you have a proper puller for our pulleys. Rent one, borrow one or buy one, but it's a must have and it will make things a lot easier. Some here tried taking it off with a standard puller and ended up having to cut what remained of the pulley to get it off.

That's the one I've used and it worked like a charm: http://www.outmotoring.com/mini-coop...oval_tool.html

On a side note: If you love your car now, wait once you have the pulley :p

Alta also has a how-to.
