Drivetrain lower brake performance
lower brake performance
so i replaced my front pads and discs, but i noticed a significantly lowered performance in breaking, i have to press down on the pedal till the end for it to brake.
I sat down on the car presssing down on thepedal for like 10-15 min before driving it but it didnt do anything, do i have to change the whole brake fluid and bleed the lines?

You need to "break-in" or bed-in your brakes. Have a read here: http://www.tirerack.com/brakes/tech/....jsp?techid=85
Does the brake pedal go down further than it used to? If so, you may have air, a full bleed will fix it. If not, then bed in the pads and it should be fine.
Air is potentially catastrophic, if you think there's any chance of air in the lines, just bleed them, it's simple enough to do.
Did you bleed the system when you changed the rotors/pads? If you didn't it should be fine, but on the other hand, it's probably time to do it anyway.
