Parts review and suggestions

Okay, so I've decided to make an exact list of parts that I'm adding, then I'm leaving it alone. I love my mini, but I have to save money to get back to RWD.

Please give me your 2 cents on these parts.

M7 16% Pulley Reduction

M7 2% Crank

M7 Catch Can (I'm all for somewhere else, just happened to be on the site)

Bosch 550cc Injectors

NGK Iridium Spark Plugs

M7 Extreme Hood Scoop

Alta CAI

Alta 22mm Rear Sway bar

GP Intercooler

Only thing that I'm really not sure about, exhaust. I'm really looking for a brassy note(not ricer, think rallye), I plan on removing the resonator, but want to find a good exhaust to go with it.

Let me know if you think I should add anything, or if any of you guys have had experience with any of the listed parts, or anything you guys have used. Thanks in advance!

Do you mean the catalytic converter? A resonator is a part upstream of the muffler. Some catbacks have them (i.e. JCW) some don't.

You'll need a tune with the 550s, other than that, you should be good to go.

Check this out:
Our WMW pulley fits better and is cheaper: http://www.waymotorworks.com/16-supe...ulley-wmw.html

Skip ANY of the lightweight crank pulleys they are not good for your engine, if you want a crank pulley go with our ATI Damper.

Oil catch can, go with the BSH can it actually has a screen in it to seperate the oil rather than being just a can.

If you want 550 injectors you will HAVE to buy a tune, and or the software. Stick with your stock injectors for now or go with the JCW 380s.

Iridium plugs don't last as long as the JCW plugs

Hood scoop that's all your choice

Intake go with the DDM intake it fits better and is a complete box unlike the alta.

Sway bar go with the Hsport comp, it will not squeak like alta, is lighter, has zerks for greasing it, and powdercoat is better quality.

GP intercooler, great choice nothing wrong with that.

I can't fault anything Way says above. Not sure why you'd want 550 injectors, even the BVH's are fine with 450's. As Way stated, 380's are all you'd need for the mods listed. Also, as stated, DO NOT get the crank pulley unless it's harmonically balanced!

Ditto what Way says... stick with the 380s if your only mod is 16% reduction pulley. If you don't venture past 6k rpm too often on the streets, then stick with the OEM injectors.

If you add a cam shaft and BVH down the road, then get the 550s with a TUNE!!! You CANNOT run the 550s on the stock Tune or even the on the JCW Tune (just a FYI).

You could just get this kit http://www.sneed4speed.com/mini-power-pack-stage-1-r53/ from us its got everything you need 15% SC pulley, 2% ATI super damper, Brisk spark plugs, HD JCW length belt, tensioner stop and intake. All track proven and in stock. You dont NEED the oil catch can, its just a bling/want part, doesnt make anymore power.
