Drivetrain Installed my Helix IC and new pipes
Installed my Helix IC and new pipes
Took the better part of 2 days, but I installed the new Helix IC and Dejon boost tubes. Also moved the water/meth injection nozzle to right after the IC outlet in the elbow tube. Gives me another 10-12" of mixing. Also took the time to wrap everything that was exposed metal.
Had a bit of a surprise taking the bumper off. It had 3 extra screws holding it on. Found this additional bar/support. Wonder if this is a coupe only thing? When I first saw it I though...oh ****...will the new IC fit?

Here's what I pulled out:

Here's what I put in:

Initial tests show 15deg drop in IATs when cruising, when the W/M is spraying 20+ drop with 7% fuel trim. Thats with the spray turned down for winter! Can't wait to see how it does in 100+ heat.
P.S.

Looks good! When you say you see 15 degrees drop in IAT's while cruising, does that mean you are cruising now at below ambiant temps? When I cruise around I am at 10 degrees above ambiant, and about 5 degrees above ambiant when on the freeway. It obviously goes up crazy fast when I get on the go pedal.
