Sorry to ask but..

Ive searched and couldnt find the size and thread pitch for the oil drain bolt on the 2011 MCS. I even checked on realoem but it wont show the info. I've read that the 1st gens are 14x1.5
Does that go for the newer models? thanks.
I want to get replacement drain plug gadget thingy......I will post it here as soon as I find out the size.

You mean one of these?
http://www.outmotoring.com/mini-coop...rain_plug.html

From Outmotoring Site:

M14 X 1.5 for Gen 1 (02-06 Hatchback and 04-08 Convertible)
M16 X 1.5 for Gen 2
M18 X 1.5 all MINI 6 speed transmission (fill and drain plugs) need one for each

Be aware that the drain plug on the Gen 2s is right on the lowest point of the vehicle, facing straight down, and the existing plug sits flush.

Anything that sticks proud is prone to being hit, at best wrecking your oil pan, at worst doing some engine damage as you suddenly lose all your oil.

The Gen 1 cars have the drain plug on the side of the pan, which is much more amenable to the taps - you might want to consider a topside oil changer if you're really that averse to turning an allen key.
