I am trying to find the total weight of the OS Giken Grand Touring single plate soft metal clutch kit. i have looked on their web site but they dont mention weights. Also does anyone know the total weight of the standard R56 Cooper S r56 clutch inc flywheel. What i am trying to work out is the weight saving in performance. On my Ford GT i have a Ford racing alloy flywheel and lightweight clutch which has done miracles for standing start acceleration.

thanks, but I think the STR is a little aggressive for going to work and back. I just wanted a very good quality clutch a bit better than std.

Meh it really isn't that bad but, hey I am not daily driving mine to and from work anymore
