My turbo is dying or what? HELP!

Hello guys, with the notice that my car is dying..

Its a R56 S 2007 Std with only 40,XXX km's!!!!! (stock)

It feels like a mini cooper n/a, cant feel the turbo power and neither the sound of the PTSSS PTSSSS by the k&n filter!!!

I thought it was the Dump Valve but it is in perfect shape.

Friends told me that it is the turbo because the propel (rotor) is broken, and others told me that it can be an air leak in the intercooler....

This is a video of how it sounds

Help and thanks!!!

Have you scanned the ECU to see if there any current fault codes?

The high pitch "whine" sound, where is that specifically coming from?
Is it coming from the center of the turbocharger where the bearings are?

You would be able to check that by removing the downpipe and the intake pipe and if the two propellers spin independantly, they the turbo has failed.

Buy a replacement and install.
Also, if the turbo did fail, make sure you oil lines to the turbo are not blocked or clogged with overcooked oil.

the sound comes from the turbo.. and when is cold and i start the car it sounds different, like something is vibrating there (in the turbo)

My choice... going to the JCW Turbo upgrade... what do i will need for a better function.. wich sparks plugs, different oil, exhaust, intake???
