Akra DP
You will love it, growls when on cam, lotsa pops and burbles. I have it on
my 09 jcw, better throttle response when starting out. Feels more torque
than before when running with the same alta/cobb map, helix fmic, and stock
exhaust, no drone. Another side benefit, slight increase of mpg. A very nice mod indeed. Enjoy and cheers!

Exactly what chengchiro said. I noticed an instant improvement in the low end and a little more torque.
The few downsides I noticed:
-CEL came on after about 70 miles. It's supposed to go off by using these but you have to drill out the center a little larger to let the oxygen sensor fit inside. I haven't been able to get the hole to the correct size yet so I can't say for sure if this works to turn the light off.
-When first starting the engine from cold (after sitting for 8+ hours) the engine idles at around 1,100RPM and is way loud. After about 45 seconds it goes back to the normal 500-700RPM and is quiet but sounds great when stepping on the gas.
-When first installed the pops and burbles were unnecessarily loud. It was to the point that some of the pops sounded like fireworks were going off under my car. Way too loud and way too often. After about 1,000 miles on the DP the P&B are just as frequent but not nearly as loud and annoying. They sound great, almost like an Audi RS4.
-During the first 20 miles or so, the DP smoked and I thought I had an exhaust leak. It turned out it was just excess oil or contaminants burning off of the pipe but it was concerning at first.
So upon first installing, the power was instantly noticeable and great but there were some serious downsides for me. All of the downsides have disappeared after about 500 miles and now I love it and would have my MINI no other way!
