HK amp replacment

I just got an HK amp for the one that went **** up and need install advice. Do I have to remove the rear panel? I opened the panel and it looks like a tight fit to work. If I have to remove the whole rear interior panel how do I do so? Thanks for any advice you can share.

Unfortunately yes you have to remove the entire rear section. I have an 07 so not sure exactly how to do your interior. I found a really great trhread on here that showed me. On mine I started with the seats which isn't too difficult then its the pillar covers. If cant find a thread here you can google free chilton online there a link on a post to Chilton manuals you should be able to find all you need there.

No you don't have to. It's a bit of a pain but I have had mine out a few times and I have never pulled the panel.

This is my dilemma. This and other Mini forums are how I got to where I am but they are also responsible for me changing my mind 80,000 times. Im now redoing my stuff again missing yet another meet up. I need mini anonymous. I didnt have to worry about factory amp bc I have base system but there are many good options out there to help deal with it.
