Curiosity about supercharger pulley and accessories

Hey guys. This isn't a "should I" thread or whatever.

My R53 has an upgraded supercharger pulley on it, it had it when I bought it.

I have no problems with it at all. I was just wondering something - I haven't dug into the motor for any real reason beyond fixing the coolant tank. I have seen kits that give you a new belt to delete the A/C compressor. This leads me to believe that the same belt drives the supercharger and the A/C compressor.

If that is correct, what effect does the new pulley have on the A/C compressor? My A/C is pretty weak, which is probably just the car telling me it's time to get a recharge, but I was wondering what (if any) effect this does have on accessories.

the size of the supercharger pulley has no effect on the air conditioner.

But I have found if you do the 2% oversize crank pulley the A/C seems to work better at idle because the compressor will be turning slightly faster.
