Good day.
A few days ago i recieved a mini cooper S gearbox (want to make a swap on my R50). I decided to try how does it work manually. In the module of gear selection there are 2 shafts:
first can move up and down
second one - "left" and "right"
So, i found only 6 speeds, and cant find the 7th one (reverse speed). What position of gear selection mechanism corresponds to the movement back?

 

Reverse is up and to the left of the 1st / 2nd gear gate. Have to shove the stick over to the left a little harder and faster than you would if just shifting thru the forward gears.
