Drivetrain Nm engineering tune
Just got a short shifter cover. They gave me a 10% discount for coming in. Which essentially just negated the tax. LoL
if i bring my car there for the tune, would i get 10% off too? =)
That's up to NM to decide if they wanna give you 10% off for going in.
On a side note, I was at the Eurotuner GP Shootout @ Streets of Willow and had a blast while my friend's shop installed my Craven SSK w/ the NM cover. Feels amazing!

Those with the NM flash, I just got the Burger Tuning JB+ a few weeks ago. While this works pretty well, the ECU still regulates boost depending on load and ambient temperature. I sometimes peak at 16psi, but now that it's colder, it's dropping down to 12 again, or maybe the ECU is adapting to the JB+. Do any of you guys have a boost gauge? After the tune, is the boost like a "normal" turbo car where it climbs straight to the top and tries to hold or is it still highly regulated by the ECU. I'm trying to justify the jump to a NM tune.

Thanks
Some guys on the Burger Tuning JB+ thread said that it's normal because the boost is controlled by load, not a peak. When I removed the JB+, my boost dropped to 9 on that day so the JB+ was adding to the performance. I'm not sure who is right but others on that thread are getting the same results. I did get as high as 13 by short shifting to 3rd and doing a hard pull as one member suggested. It's running great in the cold weather so I'm just letting it be for now and assuming all is normal.
If it makes you guys feel better, during the warmer weather I could see 18psi with my settings and supporting mods.
Now with colder weather it's around 14.5psi.
Enjoy the cold weather, turbo cars love it!

I was out playing around on my commute home. It is currently 34F here. I hit 12.3 psi with a catback and jcw intake, no tune. Highest I saw in the summer was 13.9psi. I would expect you to be higher with a jb+.
You mentioned you hit 9 with it removed that same day. Remember your fuel trims are all screwed up when you take it off. The jb+ has been lying to your DME about your airflow and your fuel trims adjusted accordingly. They will not instantly go back for comparison runs
