There was a report elsewhere about the hangers changing for 04 build MCSs. I think the orientation of the hangers changed from side/side to fore/aft. A quick search ought to do the trick...

HTH,
Jeff

My car is Nov 03 build 2004 . I just installed a 2002-03 borla race exhaust with no problems. Maybe hangers changes came after Nov.

Just installed the Magnaflow on my Sept build 04, no problems, sounds great.
Everybody said this was the loud setup, after my first 10 mile ride I don't think it is loud at all. I think I read that the mount changes didn't become effective untill the Jan 04 builds.

Buy one, have fun !!!!!!

The exhaust hanger change took place in late January of this year. If I am not mistaken I think this is build dates and not delivery dates, but I could be wrong. Hope this helps.

Cheers,

JD

If you'd consider a used one, mine is up for sale as soon as I clean it and polish the tips.
