Terry told me NGK 5992. Like I said I will find out Tuesday to see how the car runs. Right now she's pulling harder and harder by the miles. It's incredible when I used to drive in 50mph zones, the car was running up to 55. Now she wants to go faster and easily reaching 65mph.

I'd be very careful boosting 18lbs if you aren't running meth or a higher octane fuel.

I thought the jb+ was to be used on a bone stock car? 1 step colders wont hurt but i think he's been doing r&d on a stock car, as well as on crappy cali 91 octane. i think there wouldn't be a problem running stock, if you have 93 oct available for certain use that.

No you don't have to run it with colder plugs, but I want to because with most tunes it'll be run the car more smooth IMO. Plus, I'm at 55K miles, so I think it's time for new plugs since I'm replacing the valve cover next week.

I have Chevron 93 available here. Most stations have good 91, better than the California 91, from what I've been told. Apparently the additive package in Cali gas is less than stellar or something?

- Correction: Chevron 94 - filled up today.

Guess I'm just being over cautious about knock suppression lol

What boost were you running without the meth?
I ask because your car runs great, so obviously no negative side effects from your previous setup.

Put ~100 miles over the weekend on JB+. It does seem to take ~50 miles to reach its full potential. No issues so far. The car just wants to go faster and faster. Pick up seems a lot smoother now. No matter what gear you are on, once you press the pedal, the car just comes to life.

At the moment I am running a mix of 100 octane and 91 octane in ~1:3 ratio. Contemplating if I should switch back to all 91 or keep it this way($8/gallon for 100 :( ). Would like to hear from you guys what do you think. BTW this is cali gas.

Agreed same here, took about 50 miles to truly kick in. Plan on using 94 sometime this week and Tuesday I'm changing my spark plugs to NGKs. We'll see how the car runs.

I was putting some 100 octane fuel along with 93. I noticed however I lost the kick pretty quick. I think the 100 octane precipitates and the car burns it first. Is it just me or have do you notice a decline in performance as well?

It depends on the intake temperatures and mapped timing advance. As far as the JB+ does I would not run any higher than the default setting on 93 octane. In some cases on 91 octane you may need to go a bit lower. But that is still being evaluated.
