I hear you . . . . This is the kind of stuff that has me leaning toward either NM Engineering or Renntech.

I figured I would see how you fared with the RMW tune before deciding.

I was surprised about this issue since I know big bucks were spent on a jig to hold everything in place while working on the ECU. I can't say for sure, but perhaps it was careless re-assembly since while in the jig things should be very secure.

Some things you only do once, and this may be in that category. (I would hope) Whatever was done, would appear to be easy to avoid in the future.

theres still a couple problems im having , im getting a code thrown bank 1 fuel system to rich, and i have rough idle it jumps 200-300 rpm when idling .

im also noticing every time i wot it im having different boost levels , which is odd i would think that at a certain rpm i would get the max psi and it would stay there until i let go off the throttle. could it be possible i need a aftermarket blow off valve? because when im at wot the blow off valve seems to go off when im at wot . sorry for any noob questions im pretty new to mini.

Boost levels are usually not consistant on the R56...boost is dictated off of load targets rather than an actual boost target. Load will fluctuate based on several factors, thus you get different boost pretty much every time you go WOT. However, it should still always fall within a certain range.

Boost will drop off on the K03 because its tiny...it has almost no lag, and will reach full boost very quickly, but will not hold full boost till the redline like you want.

I'll sell you my flash tool I purchased from Jan for $50. It will cost another $100 to re-set it to work on another car. (sold)

"was" maybe?

I am fairly confident that all of the tuners are able to tune to disregard the catless/high flow downpipe CEL trigger. Why the OP did not receive this component of the tune is peculiar - after all Jan rode in the car with him.
