clutch bleeding?

So does everyone just follow the old slave cylinder bleed valve open, pedal to the floor, hold, bleed valve close, pull pedal up and pump method? (for r56 slave cylinder bleeding) Or do you follow this one? http://new.minimania.com/web/DisplayID/823/ArticleV.cfm
Just wondering because I did the first method 3 times and the pedal still feels light.

The service manual states to use a pressure bleeder and not pumping the pedal.
The Bentley manual also states to SLOWLY operate the clutch pedal about 10 times after bleeding.
