securing the flywheel

For those of you who replaced the clutch/flywheel yourselves, did you use the tool specified in the bentley manual to counterhold the flywheel when torquing the bolts to spec? Or something different? I have a pry bar but I don't think it's long enough to be of any use as a wedge within the flywheel teeth. Also, did you have any issues with your starter post re-assembly?

I used a small open end wrench and wedged it in, since I also didn't have a pry bar that fit. I also had trouble with my starter, you may have read my previous post, since you asked. If not, just be sure to line it up where it was when you took it apart or else the gear on the starter won't mesh with the flywheel when you try and start your car.
