Riss Racing DP/Invidia CB combo. Exhaust leaks...

Anyone else that's running this combo have leak issues? I've been running this setup and I can't seem to get rid of a leak that's coming from the v-band connection. Anyone have any suggestions?

TIA

The Invidia is known to leak because of the stupid slip fit joints. However, the vband is the one place it should not be leaking...

Try getting a new vband on there...

I'm sure it's not the Invidia exhaust leaking. I think it's the Riss Racing DP that's the issue. The quality of the Riss Racing dp is horrible and looks like someone made it in their garage. I can't believe I paid $180 for it...

Really?

Mine was of great quality...looked fantastic.

Maybe you have some sort of knock off?

Riss Racing made a lot of garbage but the downpipe I received from them was Grade A quality. I still have it on my MINI. It's a toss-up if it mates to any cat-back exhaust perfectly. I had mine welded to my DDMWorks cat-back. This combo came close to bolt-on, but very leaky.

My Riss racing DP is also top notch quality. I'd say it's the v-band. There's a gasket in there that's easily damaged if not handled gently when removing and reinstalling it.
