rmw header install

just got my rmw header. this is a work of art. i got the one with the cat and v-band clamp. usually i do all the work on my car myself, but this requires welding.

gotta take it to muffler shop. how much time should be a reasonable charge to install it?

You can have them just weld the proper end to the other half of the exhaust and still DIY.

is the pipe section behind the header easily removable? i could install the header, cut the pipe behind it in the proper spot, then just remove that section and take it to muffler shop. otherwise i would need to drive to muffler shop with open header and other pipe held up with some wire so it won't drag.

thats what i did with my truck a while back. bolted up the headers, and tied the old pipes up, and drove down to the muffler shop open header. It was a pretty awesome day.....

If you do cut the pipe first make sure you cut it too long, let the muffler guys put the final cut on it.
