VGS Re-route Mod Results

I have reversed the VGS mod on my 2006 R53. I found that after the pulley and CAI install the throttle was still mushy and lacked response. I took out the VGS mod and now the throttle feel is much better and the acceleration more closely corresponds to what I do with my right foot.

Not sure why this is, but just thought I'd pass it on...

That makes sense, the VGS mod basiclly gives you a more open / shut scenario with your BPV and will take away from some of the subtleties of your driving.

The only time I've seen it really useful is in a situation is where you need to make sure the BPV stays shut in a low vacuum / high boost situation, usually a new or better BPV will fix any normal driving issues other than doing the VGS mod.

I do have the Detroit Tuned BPV. Car feels much better w/o the VGS. Just need to find more o2 up here at 7k elevation! I think the catback is next.

thanks for your reply.
